


MIGRAINE
Migraine headaches are understood as a condition primarily influenced by an imbalance in the body’s doshas, especially Pitta and Vata. Migraine (Ardhavabhedaka or Sooryavarta) is described as a type of headache characterized by intense throbbing pain, typically on one side of the head, often accompanied by sensitivity to light and sound, nausea, and sometimes visual disturbances.
Panchakarma Therapies:
- Shirodhara: A continuous flow of warm herbal oil on the forehead to calm the mind and nervous system.
- Nasya (Nasal Administration): Application of medicated oils or powders through the nasal passages to treat headaches and balance
